Fast Sim, a member of the Fast Lines fleet, is named after Simonne Scheers-Vervoort. This is one of the founders of our company. The other members of our fleet family are Fast Jef, Fast Herman and Fast Sus. They all proudly sail under the Belgian flag. The Fast vessels are manned by passionate seafarers.
Fast Sim, like its fellow low draft short-sea vessels, is exceptionally versatile on rivers. It easily navigates inland waterways. In that way, it can reach important ports like Duisburg, Brussels, and Paris.
Our boxed-shaped vessels
These box-shaped vessels, like Fast Sim, feature a cargo hold with a distinctive rectangular design. This makes them easily recognizable in the maritime sector. Their outspoken red colour adds a touch of uniqueness. This sets them apart from the more common blue, grey, green, and black vessels found in the industry.
